Excuse me? Where did I show that I misunderstood Codd's ideas? I may have misunderstood yours, because they are incomprehensible to me (and to many others it seems). You are the one who shows a distinct lack of understanding of the relational model - or at least fails to appreciate WHY it is as it is and not as you say it should be.
