But then you have the classic loophole problem. As soon as you allow that Sprocs are used for "last resort", you have to spell out the conditions under which they can be used and suddenly everyone is claiming they've got a special case and *must* use a sproc.

This is why you have to support them either entirely and systematically, or not at all, you can't have "last resort" case.
