Mediacompetion is there.
Surely there would be more traffic here if cdt would be
the only place where people like to discuss databases
without having to delve into product specifics.
I do not mind that at all.
Bringing down comp.databases traffic-level
was an important goal when cdt was started.
Increasing or decreasing cdt's does not seem
particularly important at this time.
Aside, a nice FAQ-entry would be (especially if someone has some answers):
Q: Do you know other places where people like to discuss databases without having to delve into product specifics?
