Well, this strikes me as being the fashion in which "OTLT" can be considered to 'turn out well.'

What's interesting is that you _didn't_ fudge things up by creating a way to insert bad data. Within the realm of "updatable views," this isn't likely to be able to be anywhere _near_ "automatically updatable," particularly if many of the tables it references contain additional fields (e.g. - updated_on or created_on or such).

There's a place for text search, and this is it.
