Your comments are correct, but it is not I that has reversed things. It's the marketplace.

If the "results" you are seeking are the sale of millions of copies of the software, and the deposit of the payments, then you can laugh all the way to the bank, even if the client is disappointed after the client tries to go into "production". Many software vendors act as though this were their plan.

And, just in case, they have the client sign an EULA that includes a clause that states (paraphrased): "If this product trashes the client's data, that's the clients fault, not the vendor's fault." Received on Mon Sep 06 2004 - 15:00:06 CEST
