Hi Neo,

Seeing how you keep creating newer and newer versions of XDb1, one might almost come to believe that it was me who set a challenge for you to beat.

I couldn't care less if your next version will create a full report on one million things and 10000 classes in less than a nanosecond on a 80286 processor. That's not the point.

When you posted your challenge, you set a goal for me to meet. The performance reported on the web page was 16 msec. On my computer, XDb1 needs 16 ms as well. On that same computer, the SQL Server version needs only 11 ms.

You can keep on improving XDb1, but you can't change history. Your message, posted in this newsgroup on 16 May 2004 11:27:07 -0700 had the requirements for the challenge. I met those requirements.

You still owe me $1000.
