Sorry, it is the other way round. One conceptualises something, then translates into a physical system, then implements it.
If you start from the physical implementation, you may to it right, but you are probably doing the wrong thing right.
Or to put in other terms, users shouldn't be worried about the physical model. That's what we have DBAs and programmers for.
And that brings us to the beauty of the RM, and the ugliness of the 'alternatives': the latter need IT professionals for everything.
