They write an excellent book, and I've read several, including Date, Mannino, Kroenke, Ozsu & Valduriez, etc. The most notable omission in my mind is Ullman and Widom's book.

Both authors have been very productive and influential in the research and academic fields over the years. Bite your tongue (or publish something worthwhile).
