The concept of Domain is first introduced by the Oracle. It a kind of Enumerated datatype. which is latter included in the SQL 99 specification.
As for as implementation is concern, a 100% java database Daffodil DB implements all constructs of SQL 99, and it provide support of DOMAINs too.
