LIKE is generally implemented as a filter, sort of like grepping all the fields in the DB. FT indexing, as it currently stands, would make it more efficient to select the records matching the pattern desired, provided the pattern contains whole words. Received on Tue Jul 08 2003 - 22:55:53 CEST
