Hi Steve,

this is the nicest description of different db technologies I've seen: http://www.sleepycat.com/docs/ref/intro/terrain.html. However, I joint the Elephant in not knowing by what you mean with advanced vs. traditional. Do you mean something like IS Caché vs IBM DB2?
