Only that it isn't. Their language isn't the same as Dataphor's. They propose the Tutorial D language just as a mock-up, and Alphora decided to implement its D differently, but still a valid TTM D.
D is a generic name for any language conforming to TTM's prescriptions & proscriptions.

Why not, specifically? It is certainly still evolving, and there are at least two lines of thought represended by Eduard F "Ted" Codd, Lee Fesperman and others on one hand and Date, Darwen & Pascal on the other. But I fail to see how this would detract from its being well defined.
