Interesting how you end up favoring the verbalizations... I must admit, until I got a couple hundred + pages into the book, I was wondering if I would ever grasp his proposal well enough to use or even determine its usefulness. At last I am beginning to see the light. One thing's for sure, weather or not I ever sketch and ORM diagram or not, my understanding of information systems and IS design (and perhaps the universe) will be much enhanced.

Do you have a preferred notation/methodology for information modeling? Or do you mostly focus on the physical implementation end of things?
