Company Policies & Standards for database

Is anyone aware of a good book/publication on Database Standards &
Policies?  I am trying to gather some best practices to develop and
document this in my organization.  (No, it does not currently exist!)



Our primary DBMS platform is SQL Server but am seeking more generic
information that is not DB specific.
