I would like having some input on the topic of Database Naming Conventions
(=naming database objects). Are there any "de-facto" standards on this topic
or?
Naming
databases
tables e.g. CUSTOMER, CUSTOMERS, customer, Customer, ...
columns e.g. using underscores, using abbreviations, using mixed case, table
name in front of column name, ...
indexes
stored procedures
primary/foreign keys, ...
All input very much appreciated.
Thanks.
