Bzzt. Wrong!
In apartments and condos you have one set of keys that open common areas: front doors, storage areas, laundry rooms etc; and one set that open tenant specific areas: your private part of the storage area, where you keep your
soap, the door to your apartment. etc.
The later are are primary keys.

Hmm. No. You have these when you need more than one key to open an area. For example when your door has two locks. It is especially relevant for those keys which are really two keys. One side opens lock one. Turn it around and the other side opens another lock.
