Hey, wait a second, leave me out of this OODBMS flame-fest... ;-)

Just to set things straight - personally I dislike most types of benchmarking except those benchmarks/tests on real world applications. While I have no problem with your benchmark I would only hold it as a creditable demonstration of specific features under specific conditions. I wouldn't wish to fall into a Microsoftian 'micro benchmarks mean our marketing department has something to work with' trap. I would like to think the OODB paradigm has a lot more to offer than better performance over a relational model.
