HI all,
We are looking for a new ERD tool.
My main criteria with the database is that:
- when a dependent child table relationship is created,
the modelling tool will automatically create a
compound/concatenated key for you.
ie.
EMP EMP_CHILDREN
STATE_ID
Of course, this does not apply to independent
relationships: such as between the STATE table, and EMP.
I have seen how this can be a really religious
discussion sometimes, but I just want to know the
tool that forces things to be done this way.
