Hi,



I am interested in finding information on two things:



    
  
  1.   Ways in which row-level locking can be implemented.

  
  2.   Ways in which b-tree locking can be implemented.






Basically, how does one do row-level locking vs. page-level locking in
a database?



Does anyone know of a good source of information for this?
