Oracle upgrade advice

Our client is looking into upgrading our oracle version (7.3.4) to the latest oracle version, would it be advisable to go straight to 10g (release end of this year) or is it better to stick with 9i?

Current platform: Oracle 7.3.4 on Win NT 4
