I am installing Oracle 9i client runtime on AIX 5.1-003. The installation completes successfully, but neither the Net Configuration Assistant or SQLPLUS will run.

I get the following error when trying to run netca:

Error loading native library: libnjni9.so. java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: jniGetOracleHome

        at oracle.net.common.NetGetEnv.getOracleHome(NetGetEnv.java)
        at oracle.net.ca.CmdlineArgs.setOraArgs(CmdlineArgs.java)
        at oracle.net.ca.NetCA.<init>(NetCA.java)
        at oracle.net.ca.NetCA.main(NetCA.java)

I get the following error when trying to run sqlplus: exec(): 0509-036 Cannot load program sqlplus because of the following errors:

        0509-130 Symbol resolution failed for /usr/lib/libc.a[aio_64.o] because:

        0509-026 System error: Cannot run a file that does not have a
valid format.
        0509-192 Examine .loader section symbols with the

I have the LIBPATH set as directed by installation guide (though that doesn't seem necessary since netca script sets it as well):

LIBPATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib32:$ORACLE_HOME/lib

Anyone else have a similar problem(s)? Any solutions?

Thanks,
