Re: agent configuration assistant fails to install

I have the same problem. I had to deinstall oracle after having multiple errors with my first attempts. I followed all the instructions found here: http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/pdf/A95493_01.pdf and still had problems I found out about jv16 power tools which may be downloaded free at http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/index.php, deinstalled oracle using the previous method then ran jv16. I have gotten one step away from a sucessfull instalation with the following error:

Parameter "orahome" = C:\oracle\ora92
Parameter "nodeinfo" = NO_VALUE

  Agent Service Failed

have read previous suggestions and will investigate, hope you can use what I have posted. good luck
