Microsoft SQL Server specific information:

I believe that the book "Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Resource Kit" has a stress testing tool included on the CD accompanying the book. To be honest, I've never used the tool, so I don't know its full abilities. It might well be limited to just generating SELECTs.

When posting, inclusion of SQL (CREATE TABLE ..., INSERT ..., etc.) which can be cut and pasted into Query Analyzer is appreciated.
