Hi,
I have more than a month's experience, use onmonitor all the time and I'm not ashamed to admit it! (I ALWAYS use it to stop and restart the engine, for example.)
Whether this is because DBA is only one of many IT hats I wear, or some other reason, I must leave others to judge.

Does anyone with more than one month's experience actually use onmonitor? (Except to check the logging status of a database - never worked out how to do that otherwise ...)
