This is not a correct way of deleting a Windows NT/2000/XP service. Under normal circomstances you will not be allowed (Access denied) and if you are, this is only one of several keys/values you need to delete.

If it's an Oracle database service you can remove it with "oradim.exe -delete ...".

Anyway, you can remove any Windows service with "sc.exe delete ...", where sc.exe is from the Windows NT/2000 Resource Kit.
