ODBC 0722 Invalid number error when using parameters in MSQuery

Hi,

On half of our newly installed pcs we have the problem that when we use a (numeric) parameter in a query from a oracle 8.1 database, we get an ODBC error (ORA0722 Invalid number). Strange thing is that on other (supposedly equally installed) pcs this problem does NOT occur.

Does anyone know what causes this problem? All NLS setting in the registry and the decimal signs in the regional settings are equal, so that is not the problem.
