Hi All,
Our current database starts up automatically on Solaris box. I guess this is from the entries in the init.d file. We've installed another database on that machine and would like to bring that up instead. Which file in init.d has the start up command. What configuration/settings does it depend on ?. I imagene it depends on some files in /var/opt/oracle. Is this correct ?. If I chnage the settings in the init.d, will every thing work as expected (starting up of new db)
Thanks for any help
