I tried further (see my message from Aug 9, 2002). The messages in the queue ARE deleted (state=3) when I read them with the client (DequeueMode = ORAAQ_DQ_REMOVE), but just after a while (2 or 3 minutes). So if I restart the client within this time gap, I get the already read messages.
