how to show blob through forms

hi,
In my table I have a BLOB datatype column. This column stores
statement of customer(ex monthly statement of cellphone)in ASCII
format,
I want to show this statement through Forms. I am using Forms version
6.0.8 and Oracle 8.1.7
I could show .bmp images through forms but I want to view the above
type of data in Forms.
I would appreciate if anyone could send a sample code/example
