I am using dotNet/C#/IIS and connecting to Oracle using oracle's own OLEDB provider.

I was hoping to use the 'proxy authentication' in Oracle so IIS could perform actions on the database on behalf of the current user.

Unfortunately, it seems the only way of making use of this feature is to connect to Oracle using OCI.

I have downloaded the beta version of the dotNet 'data provider' for Oracle and was wondering if I could combine my normal usage of the data provider in C# code and with a couple of specific OCI calls written in C to invoke the 'proxy authentication' feature.

Can anyone help?

Many Thanks
