Hello,

Thanx for the message. we use MF COBOL Compiler. However we are planning the COBOL Can make use of the OCI Libraries of Oracle(8i) for COBOL (??) and
make calls to it. But is it possible? If, then any sample code is hightly appreciated. All we could get from is only the OCI for C or C++ samples/sites.

However, looks like you are suggesting to call a external C Function from COBOL and do this activity. That is acceptable. But Can we avoid C in this scenario? I am looking at maintainence and support point of view as well.

Please reply. It's urgent. Thanx again!
