Regarding the hard-coding of these passwords in scripts, there are 2 attitudes you can take:
- Just change the passwords, and if any scripts fail, they shouldn't have been using these passwords hard-coded in the first place.
- Grep the system for "svrmgrl" or "sqlplus", or "sys", "system" or "internal". This should show up ALL hardcoded passwords that use Oracle, although it will take a while.
