Linking tables from Oracle to MS Access

We are using MS Access as a reporting front-end for Oracle databases. We are using the Oracle ODBS driver (8.1.7). When linking to an Oracle table (or tables), MS Access sends off a fairly involved query to the Oracle data dictionary to identify any constraints, indexes, etc. associated with the table(s) being linked. Is there any way to turn this off -- and rely on manually defining the "Relationships" among the tables ? Received on Tue Oct 30 2001 - 18:25:48 CET
