SQL Query For Master Detail Form

Hi There,
In my current project, the architecture is like as given below:
Oracle - Database (Backend Server)
Com+ - Transaction Server
ASP - Front End
Most of the business logic and Queries will be written in the COM+ using VB6. I have number of screens involved master detail requirement. I would like to know that is There any specific way of writing the query to fill the Master and Details grid for this type of architecture..
