Oracle 8i on the Mainframe

My client would like to evaluate the possibility of porting our Oracle 8i databases running on Windows 2000 Advanced server to Oracle 8i on MVS. Does anyone have any specific warnings or issues that they have come across? Also, any indication of differences in functionality between running Oracle on the Mainframe or NT would be appreciated as well.
