BTW, just out of curiosity, how did you figure it out? I searched all of the files I could find to try to figure it out before posting, but was unsuccessful.
What if the JRE is a different version? I believe that the version I pulled down was Version 1.1.8_007 for Windows 95/98/2000/NT 4.0 (Intel Platform) -- this is the latest version on www.javasoft.com . If that version was installed on the target machine prior to installing Oracle 9i Lite, would that affect the changes suggested below?
Sorry for the stupid questions, but this is a first time dealing with Oracle installations.
