Any tips on how to get NT4 to shutdown an oracle database for a remotely
controlled offline backup?
I have tried a script that does a connect internal then shutdown, which
works fine in the foreground but hangs asking for a password when I run it
It would be a pushover in Unix, but NT4's at isn't smart enough to run its
stuff as the user who created the command.
The version of Oracle is 8.0.6.
