Skills/Environment

• Experience with Java application development using leading application servers from BEA Systems (WebLogic), IBM (WebSphere), Bluestone and Silverstream is preferred.
• Experience with implementation of e-Commerce applications using Broadvision, Vignette, CommerceOne or Ariba is a plus.
• Good Object-Oriented Skills
• Minimum of 1 year of Java application development experience.
• Ability to apply design techniques in developing application architectures in a large-scale development effort.
• Experience building business applications.
• Good communication skills (written and oral).

To better integrated Web applications while still reducing risk and time to market my client has developed a suite of "pre-fabricated" solution frameworks providing all of the generic functionality needed by a customer and provide standard mechanisms that simplify the task of customizing or extending the framework.

Last May, they made available a presentation server for deploying fast, dynamic Java GUIs over the Internet. GUIs presented by their product are significantly faster and more dynamic than those rendered using HTML alone. Applications powered by this employ a true ultra-thin client architecture.
