Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this error I ran into the
other day. We are using a 3rd party tool to export data from and AS400
which then imports the data into an Oracle database (7.3).
This has been running smoothly for around 6 months when all of a sudden it
recieved the following error:
ORA-01043 (which the Oracle documentation says)
'User side memory corruption ....'
Has anyone ran into this error before? If so what ended up being the cause?
Cause: The application code corrupted some fo the user memory used by
Oracle.
Action: Make sure that the application code is not overwriting memory.
Thanks for you help.
