Oracle 8 + VB6 -- any war stories??

Howdy,

I am about to embark on a substantial system using an Oracle 8.05 server and VB6 as the client.

I have only used Delphi for c/s apps, and would like to know what I'm getting into. Does anyone have any useful tips or warnings to offer? Does anyone know of a site or FAQ that contains such tips for VB6/Oracle 8 developers?
