I'm planning to migrate a data .mdb file to an Oracle database, and keeping
the frontend in Access (97). All nt-workstations can use sqlnet at this
moment.
1) I suppose the only way to come to the Oracle data is via an odbc driver
(Oracle or Ms preferred ?); is there an easy way to use a central driver on
a network server without installing the driver on each pc ? (for sqlnet this
works fine)
2) what's the best way to migrate (the Oracle upsizing wizard ?)
3) What can I expect in aspect of performance, stability, problems and what
tips can experienced uses give me ....
