how to design database for multi-company support?

hi everyone,
I am designing oracle database and one of the requirements is that it must be multi-company enabled. I know I can have table column for company code for each transaction table, even setup table. If I use oracle sequence, how to have separate running number for each company? Is it advisable to put each company data/tables under one user/schema? Received on Thu Jan 21 1999 - 10:30:22 CET
