Return a result set from a stored procedure into Delphi

I'm trying to write a simple stored procedure that does the following :

I'm trying to write a simple stored procedure that does the following :
- input a parameter into the procedure.
- Query a table based on the parameter
- call the procedure from delphi
- display the result set in a grid
Somehow i could'nt get this to work.
I'd appriciate a sample code describing the procedure.

I'v read somewhere that PL/SQL isn't designed to return result sets.
is it correct ? I's there a way to bypass this ?
