I need to execute a SQL command ( ALTER USER ) from oracle forms.
Development environment is Win 95/NT. What I did was created a dos SQL
script with ALTER command & parameters & I was able to issue the command
successfully using HOST command in Forms. Only problem was that it did
open a window to run the SQL script. I was unable to resolve this problem
even with HOST(sql_file,no_screen) since I am using the Windows
environment. We are using forms 4.5 with Oracle 7.3. I would appreciate if
you could help me on this issue.
