Each year Jenz & Partner makes a study about the leading RDBMS. One Book is "Relationale Datenbanken: Ein Produktvergleich" its about the architekture from Informix 7.2 Oaracle 7.3 Sybase V.11 SQL-Server 6.5 Adabas D 6.2 DB2/6000 2.1
The other Book "Total Cost of Ownership" lists the money you have to pay for these Databases in two scenarios over a time from 10 years.
The books are written in german.
