Whe I'm installing Designer 2000, one of the steps is to change teh variavle 'shared_pool_size' to 18000000, but when I make this, =

I can't restart the database, because I get the message ORA-09242 error

creating SGA and OSD-01100 can=B4t assign memory (OS 87).

My computer is a Compaq Presario 924 486DX2 an I have 60 MB RAM.

When I had 36 RAM, the ORACLE representative said to me tha I need more

memory, but I have wasted a lot of money in more memory and the problem

is the same.

I have Windows 3.11, Personal Oracle 7.1.4 and Designer 1.2

The limit max that I can to define is 16142 aprox in 'shared_pool_size'.

I will appreciate if someone can help me with the problem. Received on Sat Feb 01 1997 - 00:00:00 CET
