SYSTEM SLOW DUE TO LGWR PROCESS

Hi there,

1. What are the recommendations to stripe the REDO LOG Files or keep it on one disk. In our environment all tablespaces are stripped and mirrored.we have three REDO LOG files (not ARCHIVED) on same disk but not striped.
2. System is heavily loaded when the LGWR process wakes up what could be the reason?
