You probably mean a datafile >2G.

I recently read a thread where someone was working with a 2.5 G datafile on a DEC AlPHA. Since AIX 4.1.4 support files larger than 2 GIG, I don't anticipate too many problems with Oracle 7.3.2. I don't think you can even create a datafile larger than 2 G using 7.2.x. I have tried that on Sequent systems ( 64 bit architecture) but it couldn't seek beyond 2 G and returned an error (I was able to create a regular file in the OS about 12 G in size).
