Technical Writer

RESPONSIBILITIES: You will own the documentation strategy development and execution for the new Applications Data Warehouse product. As a key member of our small product team you will play an important role in the product's success. Responsibilities include:

• Designing the complete documentation set for Applications Data

Warehouse

• Designing and writing on-line help
• Designing and writing a new Users Guide
• Review functional and technical design specifications
• Review user interface design
• Review Marketing Collateral
• Give quality feedback to product development

BACKGROUND: - Preferred level of degree: BA/BS, MA/MS in CS, Math, Physical Sciences or English - 2+ years experience

• Experience writing a complete manual or major portion of a manual from scratch
• High level of motivation, with ability to meet schedules and work independently, while interacting with product management and technical team members
• Ability to grasp technical concepts and communicate them quickly
• Ability to write concisely and clearly
• Experience writing on-line help
• Familiarity with Interleaf, Framemaker or equivalent authoring

applications

• Experience with PC or Unix environments highly desirable
