As I recall, Oracle 1.0 was an internal release only; therefore, only folks who worked at Oracle would have played with it. The first version that was released to the public was, I believe, version 2.0.

However, if you're still curious, I think the actual completion of Oracle 1.0 was either in 1980 or 1981 and Oracle 2 followed about 1 to 1.5 years after. Someone else should double check these dates; it's been a while since I've needed this information or seen any reference to it.
